Our newly created Adventure Trail is a private trail designed exclusively for campground guests, offering peaceful views, scenic overlooks, and quiet places to relax just steps from your campsite.

Private Trail

The Adventure Trail begins at our private picnic area, offering a convenient starting point for a morning walk, afternoon hike, or sunset stroll. Reserved for campground guests only, the trail provides a quiet and uncrowded experience. As you walk, you will pass through the unique rock formations that make the Granite Dells one of Prescott’s most recognizable natural landmarks.

Incredible Views

As you explore the Adventure Trail, you will discover several vantage points that overlook Watson Lake, one of Prescott’s most scenic outdoor destinations. The sparkling water, surrounded by massive granite boulders, creates a landscape that is both dramatic and peaceful.

Along the trail you will also catch glimpses of Prescott in the distance, reminding visitors that while the campground feels secluded in nature, the charm of historic downtown Prescott is only a short drive away.

To help guests fully enjoy the experience, we have placed picnic tables throughout the trail area. These quiet spots allow visitors to stop, relax, and soak in the views of the Granite Dells and Watson Lake.

Bring your morning coffee, enjoy a casual lunch, or simply sit back and listen to the peaceful sounds of nature. These picnic areas were intentionally placed to highlight some of the most beautiful vantage points along the trail.
