Here's Why We're Prescotts #1 RV Campground

August 2026 (5/5 stars): Point of Rock campground is very clean and staff is assume. We had an issue out hiking and call the camp host and he came to get us within 15 minutes. They go way above to help their guests.

August 2026 (5/5 stars): Great site!! Love the location and be able to walk to the lake, beautiful views, personalized site map.

August 2026 (5/5 stars): Very clean and quiet campground. Very friendly staff!

August 2026 (4/5 stars): Clean campground. Restroom/Shower were nice and clean. We had a small campsite for our pop up tent camper. Although a small site, it still allowed for an awning to be extended and our tow vehicle to be parked and still had plenty of room for camping chairs and picnic table. Would definitely stay here again.

July 2026 (5/5 stars): Thank you for your wonderful 5-star review! We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Our entire team works hard to provide a clean, scenic, and memorable stay for every guest, and it's rewarding to know we met your expectations. Thank you for choosing Point of Rocks RV Campground. We look forward to welcoming you back for another unforgettable stay in the beautiful Granite Dells!

July 2026 (5/5 stars): The campsites have been meticulously positioned around the natural rock features so wherever you are in the campground, you feel connected with nature. The staff is amazing! The park is family owned and you can feel the sense of pride they take in the facilities! We will plan on being regular visitors! We had a pull in site (49). And it worked out perfectly for us with plenty of room for our Jeep.

June 2026 (5/5 stars): Very nice, clean, quiet park. Nestled in the trees with an elevation about 5,200FT. Temps were in the mid 80's to the low 90's but a far cry cooler than the Phoenix Valley which was 110 plus degrees. Hook ups are nice and it seems the power hookup looked new, or upgraded. Water pressure was spot on at around 60psi. Some sites have pretty decent separation, but others are a little close where the neighbors sewer was right near our camp side picnic table. Some sites are VERY WIDE, and others are on the narrow side but still easy enough to maneuver into. All sites are back in. We had great tree coverage but still needed both our A/C's. We used Starlink Mini for wifi and streaming. Had great service even with tree blockage. Park has free wifi but no streaming is aloud on park wifi. Park employees police the campground frequently which was nice to see.

June 2026 (5/5 stars): If you want a campground with actual character, this is it. Being nestled right inside the granite boulders gives this place a totally unique feel. It was peaceful, clean, and nice and quiet. They have an awesome "adventure trail" on-site that was so much fun, it became our mandatory evening routine. If you're planning a trip, here is a pro tip: look for a site in the back half of the campground. It’s much quieter and offers a way better experience overall. Five stars all the way!

June 2026 (5/5 stars): Campsite was the finest to date, with property management outstanding. I look forward to my next visit.

June 2026 (5/5 stars): Campground was clean and campsites were level and made positioning trailer easy. Bathrooms were immaculate and this includes showers! Will definitely stay there again. I only wish there was more shade in the economy portion of the campground.

May 2026 (5/5 stars): Can't say enough about this place! Located right in the middle of the granite dells in Prescott. The scenery is fascinating and breathtaking! The campground's Adventure Trails have gorgeous views of Watson Lake and Willow Creek Reservoir! There are nearby parks(green space) to enjoy either on foot or by bike. We have loved watching the little critters(ground squirrels and chipmunks) and birds behind our site! The weather has been beautiful! Downtown Historic Prescott is nice for a meal and a stroll. The laundry facility is clean! And a free hot chocolate from the office while I waited on my laundry!! No question we will be back!!!

May 2026 (5/5 stars): We just spent a wonderful week at this rv park. What a fantastic place. Quiet, out of town, sites are separated and it’s free of any trash or unsightly areas. Great place and already booked another visit.

May 2026 (5/5 stars): One of our favorite campgrounds in Prescott. We have stayed there many times and it never disappoints. The sites are clean and most have nice shade. The views and hiking trails are fantastic. The trail to get a mountain view of Watson Lake is great. They have added a military discount as well.

May 2026 (5/5 stars): This place is in a natural setting amongst the boulders of Prescott. It's quiet, with trees separating the sites, and one of the most beautiful campgrounds we've been in.

April 2026 (5/5 stars): We love Point of Rocks. Access to Watson Lake, close to downtown Prescott, clean facilities. Nice, quiet campground. Love the adventure trails and picnic tables they added overlooking the lakes.

April 2026 (5/5 stars): Spectacular campground surrounded by sandstone boulder outcrop. Probably one of my favorite campgrounds ever. Great and well maintained trail “Adventure Trail”. Close hike to Lake Watson. Saw lots of Canadian geese at the Watson park. Had a couple eagles.

April 2026 (5/5 stars): This is our second time staying here and we 100% recommend! Very clean bathrooms and showers. Easy to do laundry. Staff is friendly and helpful. Eat downtown at Lazy G and Rosas. Downtown Prescott has so many cute shops. Can’t wait to come back!

April 2026 (5/5 stars): Great RV campground -- not a sardine RV parking lot, but spots nestled in the trees, many with views of the granite dells. Loved having a 10 min. trail from campground to Watson Lake and another adventure trail right in the campground. Close enough to town for sightseeing and supplies. Very professional outfit with online reservations, great website and nice welcome packets. Especially appreciated the recommendation for mobile rv repair, which I ended up needing.

April 2026 (5/5 stars): We reserved site 54 so we would be parked against the rocks. WOW. Great site. Separate space next to us for our Jeep. Very level with high pressure water and power that supports our heat pump. Yes, if the power isn't sufficient, the heat pump can't operate and we burn propane instead. Don't miss the adventure trails at sunset. Bring flashlights. 😉 We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Motorhome.

April 2026 (5/5 stars): Spectacular campground surrounded by sandstone boulder outcrop. Probably one of my favorite campgrounds ever. Great and well maintained trail "Adventure Trail". Close hike to Lake Watson. Saw lots of Canadian geese at the Watson park. Had a couple eagles entertain us with their mating ritual. Campsites great and well maintained. I will be back. Wanted to stay longer but had reservations at Grand Canyon. Can be noisy due to proximity to 89. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

April 2026 (5/5 stars): This campground has a variety of "levels" with the value sites being a bit close and really good options for smaller rigs. The premium spots higher in the campground have some better space and much better views. The campground owned adventure trail is great for a small walk (think dogs) and the cut-though to Watson lake has you at the water in 1/2 mile. Overall a very nice staff and clean operation. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

March 2026 (5/5 stars): Wonderful place to stay just north of Prescott. 2nd generation owners since the 1970’s! We stayed 3 nights in a value site which worked well with our van and close to the bathroom and laundry and garbage bins. Campground is built in hills so bring leveling blocks. Saw all sizes of rigs come and use the sites. Only thing I wish they had was a dog park…just not sure where they’d put it. We would stay again though!

March 2026 (5/5 stars): What a delightful location! This has to be one of the most amazing RV park locations we have ever experienced! Point of Rocks is located in the Granite Dells, bizarre rock formations just north of Prescott. If you enjoy hiking and exploring, this is the place you want!

Thank you!
