Rick W. writes, November 2024 5/5 stars; Spent 4 nights here in November 2024. Grounds are very well maintained. Sites are varied in size - plenty of pull throughs for larger rigs. Owner/operators were on site and were friendly and helpful. We came to Prescott to mountain bike and this park was an easy 15-20 minute drive to most trailheads. Ideal for us. Definitely recommend and I’d stay here again.

Karen writes, October 2024 5/5 stars; This is our very favorite place to stay in the area. The natural beauty of this camp ground can't be beat! My husband and I try to visit for a week of hiking and exploring every year. The many trail choices right out of the park are so fabulous. My hubby is not as much of a hiker as I am, so it makes it easy for me to either just hike from the park or drive a short distance to other nearby trails on my own while he relaxes. We also love just relaxing outside our coach and taking in the beauty and peacefulness of the park. When we get bored with that it's only a short drive to shopping or downtown Prescott for entertainment and good eats. This year we made sure to watch the fabulous Veterans Day Parade at the Court House. We always marvel at how well run and managed this RV park is. We have not had any problems reaching staff during business hours to discuss arrangements. While they have contactless check-in, the staff is happy during office hours to meet and assist you with anything you need. I really appreciate that they have such great information on their website of activities in the area. It was very thoughtful to make this info easily available. We have met owners and staff during our stays while they performed work in the park and they are very pleasant, friendly and are dedicated to providing a good experience for all guests.

Barbara B writes, October 2024 5/5 stars; Plus: Very helpful and customer friendly staff. Nice campground with a lot of trees. Beautiful viewpoint at Watson Lake. Minus: on Route 89 and that’s a very busy road. A little expensive comparing to other places we’ve been.

Jennifer Utas writes, June 2024 5/5 stars; Nearby activities: A short walk to the Lake, paddle boards and kayaks available for rent. Some sites are over than others with trees for shade, and privacy. Interesting rock formations.

Diane G writes, June 2024 5/5 stars; This has become our favorite close to home RV escape. The sites are well spaced out and PRIVATE. Just love it here.

Lori Daniels writes, June 2024 5/5 stars; We love Point of Rocks Campground! There are great hiking trails and one leads right to Watson Lake in just a few minutes with beautiful views along the way! The campgrounds and restroom/shower facilities are kept impeccably clean!!!! The staff is super friendly and helpful and the premium sites are very roomy and many offer great shade and privacy with trees between them. Close to town, just a quick few minutes and you are downtown on Whiskey Row or at Walmart for supplies. Great open picnic area perfect for a game of baseball or family football game! Nice laundry facilities and camp store for anything you might forget. We highly recommend this campground if you are visiting Prescott! It’s the best!

Mike OConnell writes, June 2024 5/5 stars; We had a great time at this camp ground. I had a tarantula walk up on me at our site. It was awesome. I highly recommend! Great facilities!

Henry Lanouette writes, May 2024 5/5 stars; Beautiful campground with campsites, strategically placed in between rock formations. It’s really beautiful and there’s quite a bit of privacy the way it’s laid out. Nice and clean.

Chalis writes, November 2024 5/5 stars: We were in site 56F which was the perfect spot for our 35 5th wheel. Hiking is just outside the coach door down a well kept trail to the Watson Lake area. Our back in was very spacious, lots of room to spread out our camp necessities. We were surrounded by big beautiful fall colored trees. The nightly fee was 66.00 plus 2.00 per dog. We were kind of bummed that we were not allowed to put up our pet fence. We chatted with the owners about this rule and although we didnt like it, it was doable for the length of our stay. The only bummer we found was the location is right off of 89A and can be a bit noisy, even in the middle of the night. We know this isnt a park issue and no reflection on the owners, its just FYI. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Kristen & Jeff writes, November 2024 5/5 stars: We loved it here! Bathrooms were not only clean but they were heated, too! Laundry was clean and affordable. Staff was great. Some sites seemed a little close (like their sewer hook up was right next to my picnic table) but overall, a great place to stay. You can bike or walk to Watson Lake where even more trails can be accessed (like to the Granite Dells). This campground is also very close to downtown Prescott restaurants or to restaurants or stores in Prescott Valley. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

W Bloms writes, July 2024 5/5 stars: This park is a great little rv gem. We had a pull thru site (#19), which was right across from the shower house, office and laundry room. Quiet park for the most part. They had kayak and paddle board rentals on site, which was great since the park is next to a lake. The laundry room was super clean, and it was $1.00 for the washer, and $1.00 for the dryer for 45 minutes. Check in was super easy. Lots of spaces, only a few that will fit larger equipment comfortably. Each site had a picnic table, and our site had some shade. All sites are gravel sites, relatively level. We had to do a little leveling on our site, but not much. Staff was always around cleaning the park, and there covered trash bins located throughout the park. Highly recommend this park. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nanci M writes, June 2024 5/5 stars: We absolutely love this campground. Towing a 31ft fifth wheel through narrow dirt roads can be daunting but our site was easy to get in and out of. There are plenty of trees to keep the site shady and it is quiet. The bathrooms are clean and heated, if needed. Liz and Rick were amazing and so helpful. Thank you!! We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

McNeal writes, May 2024 5/5 stars; I had a back in site for my 40 motorhome. The main road was nice and wide making it easy to back into the site. The upper section that I was in is surrounded by very large rocks. I didn't use the restroom since Ive got very nice facilities in my RV. Theres a path down to the lake which was an easy hike.

RonDon68 writes, April 2024 5/5 stars; Stayed 5 days up through the weekend. Stayed in pull thru site 86. Plenty of space for 35'' travel trailer, outdoor gear and vehicle parking. Plenty of activities both in the park and near by. Park is clean and well maintained. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nariman D. writes, November 2024 (5/5 stars): Nice place, quiet and peaceful. Organized and friendly staff.

Ben T writes, November 2024 (5/5 stars): Check in was very smooth. We arrived after dark. The reservation was hanging on the board outside with the name printed and a map with arrows drawn on it to help. The spots were clearly marked with arrows. We saw several staff members and were always greeted with a smile and a wave. The spots were level always a bonus. The trees help protect some sites from the wind. Our spot looked out towards Watson lake so the view was sweet.
