January 2026 (5/5 stars): Fantastic location to be able to hike to two different lakes. Great RV campground. We were parked right up against the rocks. Very quiet, couldn’t even see our neighbors, bathrooms were spotless with strong, hot showers. We loved the city of Prescott, A short drive to downtown.

January 2026 (5/5 stars): We stayed in the upper camping area where we had easy access to the trail to Watson Lake. Great for day hikes and walking our dog. We also brought the Mtn Bikes as there are several trail options in this area. The layout and amenities of the campground are nice. There are hot showers and bathrooms in both the upper and lower areas along with a laundry facility. The store at the Campground is nice for last minute items like ice and bottled water we forgot to pick up. Some of the sites have beautiful rock formations for back drops. Ours looked out over the Watson park area which was an equally nice and provided great views. The only negative is traffic picks up on Hwy 89 around 6:30-7am. There are a couple local hot rods that like to race out of the area on their way to work. It wasn't that big of deal as my wife and I work remote during the day and play in the afternoons/weekend

December 2025 (5/5 stars): We found our new spot for winter camping. This campground offers full hook-ups and beautiful views. The spots are clean and easy to park in. Even though some spots are close to the road, the place is fairly quiet. There are nice trails you can access from the campground. They also have a picnic area. We'll be back again!

December 2025 (5/5 stars): Close to downtown Prescott while feeling like you are camping out in the boonies. The campground was clean. We will definitely stay there again.

October 2025, (5/5 stars): This is a very well taken care of RV Park. This was my first time in a one but the bathrooms were INSANELY clean. The grounds were tidy but not over kept so it was still a bit of a natural outdoorsy feel. Most of the other tenants/patrons were also super respectful and quiet. Watson Lake being so close is super awesome, close enough to town but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. I can't wait for our next trip.

October 2025, (5/5 stars): This location is within walking distance of the lake. If you like the look of the lake, about a fourth of the spaces in this RV campground look very similar. There are two bath houses, one for each half of the park. The spaces that are closest to the lake or just absolutely beautiful. They tuck up into the rocks. It's a beautiful place to spend a couple of days. We've been there twice.

September 2025, (5/5 stars): Awesome Park! Arrived to a large reservation board on the office wall with our information packet clearly labeled with our name printed on it, great directions to our spot and tail map. Park has very nice facilities, bathrooms, laundry, picnic area and walking trails. Park was neat, clean, tress were trimmed for clearance and plenty of clearly labeled trash bins. Great older park that is well maintained! We will be back soon!!!

October 2025 (5/5 stars): Thoroughly enjoyed this part of the Prescott area. The hikes and bike trails that were available within 3 miles were incredible. The office staff were very warm and hospitable offering assistance as needed. Bathrooms were very clean and showers were great. Would certainly come again if in the area!

October 2025 (5/5 stars): Nice quiet campground, great bathrooms ( very clean, well kept ), the trail to the nearby park was a beautiful and fairly easy 1/4 walk! The office was staffed nicely, and their little shop even had coffee filters (the one thing we forgot in our camper )! The price of our stay was very affordable and led us here - other campgrounds were twice as expensive! We had a spot right under a rocky 30 foot high cliff which shined beautifully in the morning light!

October 2025 (5/5 stars): This is now one of my favorite spots. I will definitely be back. Will need to stay longer. Facilities were great. Didn’t use their bathroom. Lots of trash cans. Clean park. Nice trails. Neighbors are great and not noisy. Feels like being away with being close to Prescott. Sites were clean. Excellent hook ups with no problems. Water hook up I didn’t see the hole to it hose through.

September 2025 (5/5 stars): A beautiful area, clean campground, small spots but room between them so it feels private

September 2025 (5/5 stars): We loved our spot and the campground is beautiful. Check in and out are easy to do. We love the convenience of having full hook ups. The price is reasonable. We enjoy walking our dogs on the trails and going to the lake. We will keep coming back!

November 2025 (5/5 stars): Clean campground, nice laundry, nice owners. Would definitely go back. Close to alot of parks, nice hiking at the campground. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

October 2025 (5/5 stars): Our site was among trees and bushes that provided privacy. Everything is gravel and surrounded by rock formations as part of the Granite Dells. We visited Historic Downtown and took advantage of all of the big box stores nearby to stock up. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Motorhome.

October 2025 (5/5 stars): We booked their standard site and it was perfect fit for our 25ft motorhome plus a car if needed. Site was level and all hookups worked well. Wi-Fi was good, they requested no streaming, but fast enough for everything else, we had no issues at all. Bathrooms and showers were clean and staff was very nice and helpful. Great location next to Watson lake, which was a very short walk with lots of hiking trails available. Loved this place and would definitely come back! We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Motorhome.

October 2025 (4/5 stars): We spent 6 nights at POR. It was a nice relaxing stay. Lots of trees and rock formation scenery with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We originally were in space 42 and that didn't work out, it was on a bluff just above road and it was very noisy and a tree prevented our fron awning from opening. We were in direct sun from noon until sunset. The next morning, we requested a new site and despite being a very booked up time, we were allowed to move to a perfect spot. The owners were very present and extremely friendly and welcoming. Manager Jason and another staff member Rick were also very friendly and were always around should you need anything.
