We have a “No Contact Check-In Process” for everyone’s safety. Office will remain Closed to the public, staff will be available from 8am-5pm (AZ time) via telephone call only. This is keeping everyone safe so we can keep our Campground Open. Your personal reservation packet will be posted outside at 1PM (check-in time) with site directions and detailed information.

Calendar: Click on your “First Night” then Click your “Last Night” stay, checking out the next day. If our calendar shows full, we have no campsites available and our waitlist is too large to allow other requests. Please ensure your reservation covers your entire stay, site may not be available for extra days.
Our calendar shows availability, but this can be influenced based on the size of your RV. So, if you receive an email stating your request was declined, it was based on the size of the campsite required and whether you chose the option to move sites to make the request happen. We are a VERY popular park and people book FAR in advance.
DO NOT call after submitting this request. Please allow 24hrs to pass before calling. Also check your SPAM folder for your response. If we are successful on booking your request, we will response via a telephone call within 24 hours. You must response within 24 hours OR the timeframe provided on your voicemail to avoid this request from being automatically cancelled.
Campsites are assigned by office staff. Staff will consider requests, but RV size must stay within the size of the site. No discounts offered at Point Of Rocks. Reservations for 1 night stays; site maybe changed at our discretion. Minimum 3 night stay required on all major holidays. We do not move other reservations to accommodate your stay or prevent moves.
Full payment is taken at time of booking. We only accept Visa, MasterCard or Discover. We are not affiliated with any discount programs. If booking separate/multiple reservations, all reservations must be paid at time of booking. If staying more than two (2) weeks, the first two weeks are due at the time the reservation is made.
Check-In After 1PM (AZ Time)
DO NOT arrive early. No extra parking is available, so you will be asked to leave and return at 1:00 PM. It is not easy for large RV’s to turn around in our campground, plus it is a one lane road to the upper campground. We currently have a NO contact Check-In process for everyone’s safety. Our office & store are closed to the public. Your personal reservation packet with last name will be posted on the bulletin board outside by 1pm with site directions and park information. Security requires all guests to pick up their personal packets before going to your assigned campsite even if you know what site you are going to. If you are arriving late, your reservation packet will still be on the board and please be prepared, our park is dark at night.
Check-Out By 11:30AM (AZ Time)
Please be prompt. NO late Check-Outs allowed or available. Must purchase site for an additional day for a late Check-Out. 11:30AM check-out is strictly enforced, and violation of policy can prevent future stays. Since the office is closed to the public, we have no check-out process, just wave as you leave. Thank you for choosing Point of Rocks! Happy and safe travels.
No Tent Camping
No Tents, Rooftop Tents, Tiny Homes or Vehicle Camping allowed. Stickley enforced and monitored by security.
Cancel or Change My Reservation
Utilize our 24/7 Cancellation Form or Change My Reservation Form. Have credit card in-hand when calling us to cancel. Cancel a full 72 hours prior and get a full refund. Cancel less than 72 hrs and forfeit first days stay. For all stays 30 days or more, we require a 14 day notice to avoid a $250. charge. As a courtesy to our customers, we know life happens. So, we do not charge a fee to cancel. Online Forms
Only 1 RV & 1 Vehicle allowed on campsite. Minimal “camping” furniture is allowed outside your RV. Extra parking is only for people visiting our guests. Satellite reception is not a guarantee with site. If important, please advise at time of booking. Campsite must be kept organized, free of trash, no dog waste, no skirting or storage under RV. You assume all financial responsibility for damage or injury caused by any member of your party/guest. Your campsite is assigned at the time your reservation is made. However, if your site becomes “inactive” due to construction for electrical or plumbing issues, we have the right to move your reservation to another active campsite. We will notify you if this change is necessary.
We have parking available for day use only (near both restrooms). This parking is for visitors of our registered guests only. No overnight parking. Any visitor who wishes to utilize this parking must register by phone with the office. Registered guests are not allowed to utilize this parking to accommodate an extra vehicle. DO NOT park on empty campsites or along the road. People who violate this policy can risk their vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense and asked to leave without a refund.
No Wood Fires
NO wood fires ever. Propane Fire-pits are allowed. Guests who violate this policy will be asked to leave without a refund. Stickley enforced and monitored by security.
No more than two (2) dogs allowed. No exotic pets (cats and dogs only). Pick up after your pet immediately. Do not allow your dog to dig holes in the park. Dog is not allowed to roam loose, even in your site. Policy monitored closely. Violators will be asked to leave. No Chow, Doberman, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Bull Terrier or Pit Bull breeds. On October 1, 2020 (12:01 AM), we start taking reservations for January 2, 2021 thru March 2021. On January 2, 2021 (12:01 AM), we will take reservations for the remaining months April thru December 2021.
