Prescott is one of the most beautiful and historic destinations in Arizona.  Visitors young and old are drawn to our mixture of frontier history and outdoor adventures.  Our downtown courthouse square is full of seasonal activities, museums and local cuisine. The Old West is alive in Prescott! Prescott is also known as Arizona’s Christmas City, so winter visitors will delight in seeing the white granite courthouse sparkling in snow and twinkling lights. Prescott is an ideal winter playground with lots of hiking and biking adventures.

Our average high/low temperatures are 55/25 in January, 57/25 in February and 60/28 in March. Be sure to pack for winter weather, including thin, warm layers and a waterproof outer layer.
