The busy season is here! With incredible Spring weather in Prescott we’ve already seen our fair share of guests here at Point of Rocks. Cool nights, pleasant days, and plenty to do in Prescott. The Whiskey Row Off Road race has come and gone, a fun marathon also took place already, and the Highland Games saw many visitors as well. And now we’re looking forward to the summer season! There really is always something going on every weekend in Prescott.
Be part of our 2017 camping season!
Next weekend the Phippen Art show kicks off the busy summer camping season in downtown Prescott. Coming up this year we’ll be seeing visitors here for their vacations, for the countless shows on the downtown square, for the 4th of July, the World’s Oldest Rodeo, the Prescott Bluegrass Festival, and plenty more. We’re always busy during this camping season, and we recommend that you get in touch early regarding your reservations. We’ve got a convenient site inquiry form on this website that should help you plan your next visit here.
Escape the heat in Phoenix
At a mile high, the city of Prescott experiences cooler temperatures during the summers. And that means you can enjoy all of the outdoor and in town activities that Prescott is famous for. Enjoy a day at Watson Lake or Willow lake, take a leisurely bike ride on the Peavine Trail, experience part of the new Prescott Circle Trail or spend a few days with us and take in the whole trail. Visit historic Whiskey Row, try out one of the many dining spots in town, or spend some time browsing the local galleries and antique shops. There’s plenty to do in the area, and you’ll enjoy the cooler temperatures if you’re coming up from Phoenix or Tucson.
Prescott’s summer camping season promises a lot in 2017. And we’re looking forward to having you as a guest this year, and for years to come!
