Sarah reviewed April 7, 2020, 4/5 stars: The short walk to the stunning lake Watson makes this park a must visit. You’ll feel like you’re in the wilderness of the mountains be able to access trail head just a few steps from your site and yet be a DoorDash call away from pizza at your door. Plus that same walk to lake will bring you to playground and you can even rent kayaks. Holding back from 5 star review for just two reasons because roads through site were basically dirt making it super dusty when wind picked up making dinners and hanging out outside the camper pretty tough. Plus the laundry facilities were pretty limited in hours for a place with so many sites. Having to do laundry mid-day with last loads in by 2:30 when we were out exploring wasn’t doable for us.

There is a half mile hiking trail to a gorgeous lake. My son and I had a good time climbing around on the rocks. There’s a lot of nature to enjoy and lots of things to keep kids occupied. Full RV hookups at each site. I will return."
Erin writes March 12, 2021 - 4/5 Stars; "A great little campground. VERY VERY VERY clean. Bathrooms and laundry were spotless. We stayed in spot 46A (it was right behind the main office so not a ton of privacy) their upper camping loop looks to have much better views and more private but it was the only spot they had that covered our entire stay in early March 2021. They are in a perfect location for hiking and enjoying Watson Lake. You can get to the trails from the back of the campground. Also close enough to Sedona and the Prescott National Forest for day trips (which we did). Reservations are only by phone but they are very responsive. They have a contact free check-in/out process. Again....the place is super clean and well taken care of. The bathrooms were nicer than most hotels.

Richard wrote a review March 2021, 4/5 Stars; Nice spots we were in 46A, bit of a challenge backing in. Nice site, park staff was very friendly and willing to help with requests. Wanted one more night but would have had to move. We will book longer next trip.

Amenities: This place has public bathrooms, showers, laundry and a gift shop, which is currently closed because of COVID... I think. When you arrive, they even print off a "Welcome [last name] Family!" card which gives you the map, location of your site, Wi-Fi code and bathroom code! It is setup all very easy to access. Layout: There are two "loops" for the two areas so you don't have to backup to get out... which is a plus! The camp spots are easy to drive up to. There are also some trails you can walk on around the camp which is great for the family. Very unique layout for the camp! Hookups were also really easy to get to. Price: About 45$ per night, I think they have cheaper weekly rates. Still that seems about middle of the road. You get all of the hookups, Wi-Fi, access to the facilities... I mean, it seems about fair. Service: The bathroom was well stocked and there were some workers walking around during the day/night. Seemed like everyone was in a good mood. Overall: The booking was super easy and they let me know where I was supposed to park and everything. Easy place to access, very cool scenery... would definitely come back if we ever rent an RV again.
Jessica W. wrote a review on April 2021, 5/5 Stars; What: Quiet and peaceful RV campground. Stayed here (4) nights and thoroughly enjoyed it! Comes with picnic table and full hookup. No wood fires, but bringing your propane fire pit is ok, which we did to make s'mores! Gravel and dust roads (unpaved). Location: the location is top notch! there's a trail to Watson Lake between sites 67 & 68 that will take you past the green area and then into a parking lot where you can access Watson Lake. Or there's a trail next to site 56C and you can follow the blue dots to an amazing view of Watson Lake. The rocks, trees and blue sky was amazing! Convenience: the town is nearby (10 minute drive) to Walmart, Panera, Trader Joe's, CVS and other fast foods/restaurants. Price: $51/night. Activities: we reserved horseback riding and kayaking through vendors they recommended on their website. We went kayaking in Watson Lake and got some fishing poles at Walmart and fished at nearby Willow Creek Reservoir. We would definitely stay here again!
C.Q.. wrote a review on Feb 2021, 5/5 Stars; We are full time RVers who have been to many RV resorts and campgrounds. Point of Rocks is one of the best we have stayed at. The location could not be better with the Dells surrounding, pine trees everywhere the eye can see, a short hike to a great playground and only fifteen minutes from the downtown square. When we arrived they had contactless check-in and posted every bit of information you will need for your stay on the board outside. The map they included even highlighted the easiest route to your spot. The spots have heated hookups and very nice tables. The customer service there is outstanding too. Jason and Liz in the office are very accommodating and patient. The jack of all trades, Rich is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable if your RV should have an issue during your stay there. Point of Rocks is a fantastic campground. We will definitely be visiting again.
RedQueenBWG wrote March 2021, 5/5 Stars; Park was clean and pretty quiet overall even though it was fairly full. They were able to accommodate our last minute (same day) reservation. There's a lot of trees and the spaces are laid out apart from each other so everyone isn't packed in a row. Overall, we would definitely go back. Be sure to follow the map to your spot. Some spots accommodate pull in rather than back in. We have a 32 foot RV but there were others there longer. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Motorhome.
Tommie And Debbie wrote March 2021, 5/5 Stars; Wonderful Campground. Love the trails and now we live here in Preskett, it's nice to know we have such a wonderful campground for the weekend getaways we will for sure be back Very relaxing place to stay and quiet. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Motorhome.
LNL wrote a review Feb 2021, 5/5 stars: I love this park with the interesting rocks and scenery. Second time we stayed. This time the reservation was mixed up (I came on Friday, they thought it was Saturday)
They were very accomodating and able to get us in to a slot. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Spent 3 days at Point of Rocks Campground with my daughter in law and 2 small grandkids for baby girls 4th birthday. Rented an RV and picked this campground and had a wonderful time. The property is well maintained, nice restroom and shower area. The other campers were terrific and helpful as I am a camping novice. Easy hike to Watson lake. Will definitely return again
ChadS wrote Sept 2020, 5/5 Stars; It seems to be a well managed park. Very clean and tidy. Our paperwork was posted on the board when we pulled up and got right into our spot. Watson Lake is right down the trail and leads to a awesome maze of well marked hiking trails around the lake. We camped at Point of Rocks RV Campground in a Motorhome.
