DaFelt writes July 2019 - 5/5 Stars; "Spacious, clean, friendly and close to it all yet away from it all! For once I didn't feel like I was in an RV parking lot! Even though I was right above the office area and off 89A - it felt secluded & quiet enough. They did a great job putting in vegetation (if you weren't nestled in the grand rockscapes) to give a bit of privacy between campsites. Only a 5 minute walk to Watson lake, kayak rentals right on site and the bathrooms were the nicest I've seen! Great location just 7 minutes to downtown Prescott, 4 minutes to the airport and Embry Riddle University and of course Wilson and Watson lake are w/in walking distance. The office folks were super friendly, laundry area was clean and nice, books/movies to check out, a few store items if you forgot anything (including ice) and place was very well maintained.
Singingdove writes July 2019 - 4/5 Stars; "I've never stayed at a campground with such unique surroundings. This is a quiet campground (at least when we stayed here). There is a short hike from the upper loop that you can take that lets you climb up on all these rocks and gives quite a view of the surrounding area. You can even see the San Francisco Peaks in Flagstaff - about 83 miles away. Spot number 9 was perfect - secluded with no one on the one side of us and even had a few trees that offered some shade."
Lardis writes July 2019 - 5/5 Stars; "Our 2nd time here and its a great park with great people who do everything to get you in, even when you arrive a day early on a holiday week. Perfect spot for our 40 footer! Should be an amazing holiday with fireworks from the lake."
Stevehurwitz writes June 2019 - 5/5 Stars; "Full hookups, shady spots, easy parking, super easy access to one of the most beautiful lakes I've ever seen - Watson lake. Best bouldering and hiking around, great kayaking. We've visited this park 2 times now in the past month! The staff are fantastic and willing to move things around to ensure you get the site you ideally want. Clean bathrooms with showers. Doggy stations with bags. RSVP early because they fill up quickly and often!"
Claudiavsssparks writes April 2019; "Very impressed with the customer service! Everyone in the front office is easy to work with and a "can do" attitude. We had internet issues which they addressed immediately. We even had a "senior moment" with our septic and response was within 4 minutes. Problem resolved. Personal attention unsurpassed! Would recommend this park to anyone!"
John Alfonso writes August 2019 - 5/5 Stars; "Clean and pet friendly. Park staff are friendly and helpful. Your stay will be better with a reservation (won't have to move), but will try to get you in. We have been here 5 weeks waiting for our house, and have met many return visitors. Office and laundry has w/c ramp, showers have level entry, but showers a bit small for chair, grounds are mostly level gravel roads with a few steep hills.
I will recommend this place."
Katie Klas writes August 2019 - 5/5 Stars;"Our Second trip and really enjoyed the peaceful, quiet campground and access to Watson Lake. Walked from our campsite to Watson Lake and did 7.15 miles through the Dells and into Peavine to Discovery back to camp. So worth it! So close to Prescott Courthouse Square. Went in for dinner at Farmer Provisions and it was exceptional. Went in for the arts fair in the Square too, very enjoyable. We will be back."
Mel M. writes July 2019 - 5/5 Stars;"This is one of the best RV parks! Clean and well run! Staff is so hospitable."
John Jacques writes July 2019 - 5/5 Stars; "Great RV park hidden away in the Dells of Prescott and Watson Lake. Clean restrooms, caring staff, camping among the beautiful rocks. Just out of town enough to be perfect, but 5 min to such a great downtown, golf courses, art galleries, hikes, etc. when you want. Also can take wonderful day trips to Sedona, Jerome, … We had to cancel our reservation last year (due to a case of shingles) and they kindly refunded all charges. We did get back this April, 2019 for two weeks and loved it. We will be back.."
Nell F writes November 2018 - 5/5 Stars; "This was a beautiful place to stay in Prescott, AZ. We lived to walk the trail to Lake Watson and see the beautiful lake. Caught a few trout and a couple of bass in the lake. The park has all utilities and good wifi. Very friendly and clean park. We will sure be back for a visit again."
Tracy N. writes November 2018 - 5/5 Stars;"What a nice park! Lots of room for the big rigs! We have a 25' travel trailer! Walking trails to amazing Watson Lake. We saw a road runner on our hike! Nice clean bathrooms and laundry. Super friendly staff. 50 cent sodas? Yes please! And DVD rentals are free! We were visiting an old friend in the area. Fun to walk around Prescott and enjoy amazing food and shops!"
Kathi A. writes September 2018 - 5/5 Stars; "This has been our favorite Arizona campground. Most spaces are very private with shrubs and trees. It is dirt roads but clean. Very well maintained and clean showers. Staff is friendly and the office had free DVDs to borrow. Very good wifi. No negatives . We stayed for a month in Flagstaff and now wish that we would have gone straight to point if rock. Lots of view sites. We don't have to stare at our neighbors sewer line. Call for resorvations."
Chuck K. writes July 2018 - 5/5 Stars; "We are spending the 4th of July here at Point of Rocks. We booked 2 spots right next to each other. Nice and relaxing. It's a clean and well kept facility. It is a little dusty and the plant life is a little on the dry side. That being said it's July in the high desert with almost zero rain in months, so it is as expected. The people are all friendly and it's very quiet."
